Innovation Forum of Prefabricated Buildings & Conference of Tianjin Steel Industry Development Held at Tianjin 

Innovation Forum of Prefabricated Buildings and Conference of Tianjin Steel Industry Development were held at Tianjin University Research Institute of Architectural Design and Urban Planning on January 1st, 2019. Ms. Xie Yun, general manager of C&P Tianjin Company attended the meeting.

The conference consisted of three parts: academic reports, interchange of ideas on steel and prefabricated construction industries, and annual summary of the year 2018. During the first period, presentations around hotly-discussed issues were given by the field distinguished experts. The noted speakers included Professor Chen Shaoli and Professor Liu Yaopeng from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Zhang Xizhi, General Engineer of Tianjin University Research Institute of Architectural Design and Urban Planning, Professor Rong Xian from Hebei University of Technology, and scholars from Research Group of Prefabricated Construction from Tianjin University Research Institute of Steel. In the second part, Mr. Dang Baowei, president of Steel Structure Branch of China Construction Metal Structure Association, analyzed the overall trending of steel industry development in the past few years. At last, Ms. Jia Li and Mr. Zhang Libo respectively delivered the report on the work of Tianjin Metal Structure Association and Society and that on the work of Innovative Industrial Union for Prefabricated Modular Buildings.  

What merits particular attention is that Northern Green Valley Institute of Prefabricated Building Technology Co., Ltd (Tianjin), invested by C&P Tianjin Company, Tianjin Yuantai Derun Pipe Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd., and Tianjin Changhua Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd in 2018, was mentioned by Mr. Zhang Libo several times for its outstanding performance in the past year.

Looking ahead to the year 2019, C&P will continuously pay close attention to the development of prefabricated construction industry and adopt Industry-Academia-Research-Application measure for the company’s upgrading and sustainable growth.
